Right below is a sand and shingle beach, with clear water, from where you can swim.

As well as having glorious sea views, Skinos enjoys a very peaceful position yet shops and tavernas are within easy reach by foot and the main beach is about 10 minutes walk away.
Here, is also, a good place for those who enjoy walking, near or longer distances in the typical cretan countryside with wild flowers and olive trees.

Skinos II Hotel is also located in Plakias Rethymno, and Just 800m west from centre of Plakias.

There in the west the most nice and quiet Corner and only few steps from the sea we have built our small and beautiful hotel "Skinos I" and "Skinos II" with a fantastic view of the sea.

All the rooms are very comfortable and have large, private sea facing Balkony. Also have their own bathroom, air condition, refrigerator, and the Studios and apartments have the own kitchen to.
